Small, warm memories
That I keep locked in my heart
On days when I’m sad,
I let them bloom in my mind
To chase away the dull day

Notes: In hanakotoba (花言葉), the Japanese language of flowers, the Kalanchoe (紅弁慶) represents “to announce happiness” (幸福を告げる), “many small memories” (たくさんの小さな思い出), “I will protect you” (あなたを守る), and “a generous heart” (おおらかな心).
